Another poem on what a whale is... can improve your scientific knowledge about whales..and my too..since i found it frm internet
WHAT IS A WHALE?
A whale is not as small as us,
most whales are bigger than a bus!
A whale is not like a fish in the sea.
It breathes air like you and me.
A whale can't walk on the ground,
A whale must swim to get around,
A whale is a mammal just like me,
But its home is in the deep blue sea.

Baby whale.
Baby whale in the deep blue sea,
swim so wild and you swim so free,
heaven above and the sea below,
and a little baby whale on the go.
Baby whale,baby whale,
is the water warm?
Is your mother home,with you so happy?
way down yonder where the dolphins play,
where you dive and splash all day,
waves roll in and waves roll out,
see the water squirting out of your spout.
Baby whaley, oh baby whaley,
sing your little song,sing for all your friends,
we like to hear you,
when its dark,you're home and fed.
Curl up snug in your waterbed,
moon is shining and the stars are out,
good night,little whale,rest your body and your spout.
